CENTRAL MASS OUTLAWS ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH CENTER SKATING ACADEMY
The Central Mass Outlaws (CMO) are thrilled to announce a new strategic partnership with the Center Skating Academy (CSA). Together, CMO and CSA will offer a unique skating-first program that will help elevate the skill of hockey players at all levels.
Under the partnership, CSA will oversee the Outlaws’ Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey programs at New England Sports Center, bringing state-of-the-art skating instruction to the youngest players who need it the most. Learn to Skate and Learn to Play sessions begin February 28th.

Additionally, instructors from CSA will be holding edge-work and power-skating sessions as part of a revamped Outlaws skill session curriculum beginning in the 2024-2025. So often we see older hockey players focusing on game-related strategies and losing their foundational skating ability.
The biomechanics involved in producing speed and power on skates is a constant challenge for youth hockey players of all ages. CSA is well-known in the skating community for their foundational work in helping players be the best skaters they can be. CSA instructors will help players with posture, balance, power generation and edge work.
The CSA program has become one of the top skating academies in the area, and has offered Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey programs for years. Now, in conjunction with our hockey coaches, Outlaws players will have unprecedented access to instruction that will take their hockey - and skating - skills to the next level.
In partnership with CSA, the Outlaws will be holding an evaluations for cross ice and full ice mites for the 2024-2025 season.
